Metchosin Search and Rescue is not currently recruiting for new members.  When we reopen recruitment we will post information at https://www.facebook.com/metchosinsar and on this page. 

If you are interested in supporting our group but either do not wish to participate in searches or cannot manage our training schedule, there may be other ways to be involved as an associate member.  Please email metchosin.sar@gmail.com with information about your skill set and how you might be interested in contributing.

If you live in or near Metchosin and are interested in volunteering in the community, there may be opportunities with the Metchosin Emergency Program.  More information can be found at http://metchosinemergencyprogram.ca/. 

Other Search and Rescue groups in the region may currently be recruiting.  If you live in Saanich or on the peninsula, you may be able to join PEMO SAR.  More information can be found at www.pemo.ca or by emailing pemosar@pemo.ca.  Juan de Fuca SAR, which is responsible for Sooke through Jordan River, may also be recruiting.  Information about them can be found at https://jdfsar.ca/.
